Four-year-olds attend for 15 hours per week.
The four-year old kinder program is especially designed to meet the needs of four and five-year-old children. Opportunities are provided for children to develop skills necessary for appropriate group living: self-confidence, independence, resilience, communication, problem solving and acceptance.
The four-year old kinder program encourages competence and confidence in the social, emotional, language, intellectual, physical and moral domains. Time is spent providing a sound basis for the learning of literacy and numeracy skills through age appropriate experiences. Creative expression is enhanced through art, music and drama. Focus is placed on stimulating curiosity and creative thinking, and allowing children to develop positive attitudes to the world around them.
The KOALA and POSSUM groups attend 1 x 3.75 hour, 1 x 4.75 hour and 1 x 6.5 hour session per week, each, over three days. Please see the timetable for the session allocations.
